Exercise Video - The Walk Past Extension and Step:
Walk forwards towards a step and fix your gaze and head on a point on the wall to one side and above head height. Keep your gaze and head directed at the point. Glance down at the step before you step over. When you have walked as far as comfortable, turn your body. Keep looking at the point at all times.
